One of the services that has been significantly impacted by the ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic is counseling and psychological services. Prior to the onset of this disease, individuals used to avail themselves of counseling and psychological services through in-person interactions. However, the current situation has faced a new reality, whereby the continuation of these services now relies on the utilization of remote communication tools. Consequently, both psychological education and services have undergone a notable transition towards non-face-to-face modalities. The objective of the current research was to examine the efficacy of online interventions for post-divorce adjustment on stress, anxiety, and quality of life among divorced individuals residing in Izeh in the year 2021. The present study utilized a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test approach, involving an intervention group and a control group. The target population for this research study included all divorced individuals residing in Izeh during the year 2021. The sample consisted of 24 female participants, divided into two groups of 12 individuals each (the first group receiving online interventions and the second group without any intervention) selected through purposive sampling. The intervention group was exposed to a 6-month online intervention program (based on the post-divorce adjustment online intervention protocol developed by Sadeghi, Goodarzi, and Karimi Sani, 2021) implemented through a mobile application, while the control group did not receive any interventions. The data collection instruments employed in this study encompassed the Cohen Perceived Stress Scale, the Beck Anxiety Inventory, and the Weir and Sherborn Quality of Life Questionnaire. The findings of the study demonstrated the efficacy of online interventions in promoting post-divorce adjustment by reducing perceived stress, alleviating anxiety, and enhancing overall quality of life among divorced individuals residing in Izeh. Consequently, this mobile application can be deemed a valuable tool during remote training sessions, aiding divorced individuals in their post-divorce adjustment journey.
