Abstract

The emotional challenges of homemakers are particularly significant due to the multiple and complex roles in the family. The philosophical teachings of Allameh Hasan-zadeh Amoli, can be utilized to propose effective strategies for emotional challenges. This study seeks to address the following questions: What are the primary psychological challenges faced by homemakers, ranked in order of priority? How can spiritual and philosophical interventions, based on the book Doroos-e Ma'refat-e Nafs, be applied to this psychological challenge?
A combination of observational methods, interviews with homemakers, and a systematic review using synthesis research methodology was employed. To determine the principles of self-knowledge, a library-based study and a qualitative thematic network analysis approach were utilized. A group-based spiritual-philosophical intervention grounded in the principles of self-knowledge was designed and implemented.
The philosophical principle of Agency through Love contributes to the enhancement of spiritual well-being. Cognitively, it fosters a sense of self-worth, increases awareness of true love, strengthens love and affection toward all of existence, and enhances self-love. From a motivational perspective, this principle boosts the aspiration for self-perfection. Finally, in terms of behavioral outcomes, it fosters agency in expressing love, instills a sense of security and tranquility, and reinforces ethical values, chastity, and human virtues.
