Abstract

The research aims to elucidate the social roles of men and women in strengthening family bond, according to the Quran as a comprehensive and precise source. The chosen method is reflection on the Quran, specifically focusing on words. By posing question from verse 34 of Surah An-Nisa , and from the apparent meaning of the verse (considering the Tafsir Al-Mizan) and using lexicons. The findings indicate that fulfilling the desired male and female roles, in the dimensions thought- discernment, belief- attention, foundational qualities, and behavior, contributes to balanced marital relationships, family growth, and societal well-being. Any disruption in these dimensions of male and female roles jeopardizes the health
of marital relationships, families, and ultimately the community.
