Aim: The purpose of the present study was to investigate the development of a psychological self-care model and its effectiveness on the resilience of vulnerable adolescents in Tehran.
Method: The present research method was mixed (qualitative-quantitative) of exploratory type. In the qualitative part, the narrative research method was used, and in the quantitative part, the semi-experimental design of pre-test, post-test and follow-up with the control group was used. The research community was formed by teenage girls aged 13 to 18 years old in Tehran in 1401-1402. In the qualitative section, after interviewing a sample of 12 people, theoretical saturation was done in the targeted method, and in the quantitative section, 30 people were selected by non-random sampling method. Available randomly selected. The research tool was a semi-structured interview in the qualitative part, and the Connor and Davidson (2003) resilience scale was used in the quantitative part. After developing the educational model of psychological self-care, the subjects of the experimental group were exposed to the intervention for 12 90-minute sessions, and finally, the data were analyzed using the combined variance analysis method.
