Abstract

Despite human being’s natural desire towards seeking and presenting beauty, in religious trainings women’s presenting their inborn beauties to others has been denied. So, the case that in holy Quran “Tabarroj” has been denied raises these questions that first what is “Tabarroj”?and second if “Tabarroj” means seeking beauty why it should be denied in spite of its being one of the human being’s natural desires?
Some believe that the denial of “Tabarroj” is the same as the denial of presenting beauties; so, here it has been tried to explain the meaning of “Tabarroj” according to the 33rd verse of the holy surah Ahzab. In this study, in the light of the deep and extended examinations, it has been concluded that “Tabarroj” is different from representing a woman’s inborn beauties to men who are called “Na Mahram” according to religious trainings. So the denial of this self-representation and also presenting beauties to others is not an absolute denial and tries to protect women and also families against the danger of “Tabarroj”.
