Abstract
Clothing forms the cultural system of a society through the sum of material signs. Hijab is a garment of social participation, it is a garment that God Almighty has given to Muslim men and women from the beginning of puberty and has accepted them as an effective member of the society. One of the practical fields in the field of clothing production is the field of clothing and fabric design, and the design of the covering structure as social clothing is a worthy subject in this field. Therefore, the present research has examined the content of the Hijab and Chastity lesson in the documentary, library and educational experience in the field of textile and clothing design of Al-Zahra University. The research method is quantitative and qualitative in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in nature. Identifying and strengthening effective factors in creating innovation and design technology for social wear in the subject of chastity and hijab, in harmony with the basics of clothing aesthetics and Islamic principles, is one of the most important goals of this research. Based on the results of the research, the qualitative improvement of the contents and the development of this lesson can be a development strategy for creating Iranian Islamic brands in the variety of Islamic clothing design.
