The Mediating Role of Self-Efficacy in the Relationship Between Islamic Religiosity and Social Capital with Mahdism Thought of Female Managers

Abstract

The purpose of this study was the role of self-efficacy in the relationship between Islamic religiosity and social capital by promoting the idea of Mahdism for female principals of four schools in Shiraz. In terms of purpose, the present research was applied, and in terms of data collection method, it was a correlational descriptive research, and in terms of time, it was cross-sectional, and the statistical population in this study was all the female principals of the four Shiraz schools (850 people) and with Using the Morgan Krejci table, the number of statistical samples was about 256 people. In this research, the standard questionnaires of teachers' self-efficacy of Schwartzer (2008), Safdel Islamic religiosity (2013), Shujaei's social capital (2013) and the questionnaire of Mahdoit Hosseinzadeh et al. (2008) were used. The face validity of the questionnaires was obtained through expert confirmation and reliability by calculating Cronbach's alpha 0.91, 0.88, 0.93 and 0.90 respectively. Pearson correlation tests and path analysis were used to analyze the data. The results of Pearson's correlation test have shown that religiosity, social capital, self-efficacy and Mahdoite thought have a significant relationship. Finally; The results of the path analysis test have shown that self-efficacy has a mediating role on the relationship between religiosity and social capital by promoting the idea of Mahdavit women principals of four schools in Shiraz.
